Hi, I’m

Sue
Seboda

I’m a photographer, writer, and adventurer exploring the intersection of nature, travel, and the human experience. From the wild beauty of the Everglades to thoughtful reflections on our changing world, my work invites you to see, think, and connect.

South Africa: Tanda Tula and Timbavati

From Cape Town we headed north to the greater Kruger area. We were in search of not only the Big 5  (elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion and leopard) but all the myriad creatures that make Africa interesting.

Bears and Birds Revisited

Last summer I had a wonderful opportunity to visit Lake Clark National Park, Alaska with Jared Lloyd and Annalise Kaylor of Photo Wild.  It was my first introduction to bears and it was love at first sight.

The Accidental Ligger

In Everglades National Park I noticed a narrow dirt track and wondered what treasures it might hold. The trees crowded in and not surprisingly I reached a point where branches completely blocked the path.

My travels take me to remote and untamed locations where I document my experiences through both photography and storytelling. From tropical sanctuaries to frozen wilderness, each journey offers new opportunities to learn about ourselves and the world we inhabit.

From the Chesapeake Bay to the Everglades, and Everywhere In Between

Born and raised on the Chesapeake Bay, my love for nature took root early and has only deepened with time. After a successful career, I now divide my time between the Chesapeake Bay and Key West, Florida, spending much of my time exploring the untamed beauty of the Everglades.

My work spans three distinct but interconnected passions: capturing wildlife and landscapes through my lens, chronicling my travels across remote corners of the world, and offering thoughtful commentary on the political landscape. Whether I’m gliding through marshes, trekking in New Zealand, or reflecting on the state of our society, my relentless creative pursuit is matched only by my commitment to technical excellence and authenticity.

Through my photography and writing, I invite you to appreciate the wonders of the natural world and to stay engaged with the issues that shape our communities.

Can We Rediscover our Cultural Roots?

When we reflect on early American ideals, attributes like individualism, personal liberty, courage, self-reliance, civic responsibility, independence from authority, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit come to mind.

Trump Supporters Need Not Apply

The owner of a local Annapolis eatery, Bread and Butter Kitchen has publicly declared that she will only hire people who share her political beliefs. While this seems foolish, it’s her business and she can run it anyway she wants.

The Wrong People are Silent

It is time to put feelings on hold and think. Does it make sense that seemingly pleasant middle age suburban women would incite violence against DOGE?
